About
I defended my Ph.D. in management (focus on Corporate Social Responsibilty) at the HEC Lausanne in 2010. I recently joined the Robins School of Business (University of Richmond).
My research focuses on the rising political responsibilities of corporations. I examine the de-limitation of corporate social responsibility using recent trends as illustrative cases. In particular, I explore corporations’ responsibility for their product effects on society, and corporations’ responsibility for historic injustices to which they were connected. In my dissertation I argue that we need an alternative responsibility concept to understand the changing and rising demands towards corporations (a social connection approach to CSR). In my current research I advance the social connection approach to CSR further.
I am particularily interested in the following topics: business and human rights, ethical consumption, and historic corporate responsiblity.
